The 90s are back!
You may have noticed, the 90’s fashion are back, in a major way. Few of the 90s trends we have been seeing lately are crop tops, knee highs, overalls, and now velvet. I’m an 80’s baby, grew up in the 90s and I remember these trends like it were yesterday. My personal style definitely had a few of these trendy styles from back in the day. Velvet is making a comeback this season, it’s super-soft and cozy, making it the perfect go to this winter. Here are some fun ways to incorporate this texture trend into your personal style.
Shoes
If you want to wear velvet, but prefer a subtle statement, try a pair of shoes.
Mixing Textures
I love mixing textures. Trying velvet leggings with a long ribbed or knit sweater.

Pants
A velvet pant is a great alternative to jeans and corduroys. Especially with the holidays right around the corner, this is the perfect texture that will jazz up your outfit.
Work
Give your work outfit some personality without overdoing it. A velvet blazer will do the trick.
Dress
A velvet dress really stands out on it’s own, but you can add a statement necklace to be more fancy.
Tops
Pair a pretty velvet t-shirt with boyfriend jeans and heels for a seriously cool outfit.
